Removing the battery
Locate the release button on top of the battery and push it down, Fig. 4 (page 82), and
at the same time, move the battery out of the tool.
Starting the hedge trimmer
Hold the machine with both hands. Press the safety switch, Fig. 5 (page 82), and then
the trigger switch. Fig.6 (page 82).
NOTE: Both switches must be enabled to start the engine and keep it running. If any
of the switches are released, the engine will stop.
¡WARNING! Do not tamper with or modify the safety switch. Incorrect operation of
the safety devices can cause serious injury to the user or to third parties.
Stopping the hedge trimmer
Release the safety switch and the trigger switch. Remove the battery from the
machine.
NOTE: When the engine shuts off, some sparks may be generated near the ventilation
holes. This is perfectly normal and does not cause any damage to the tool.
