Installation positions
Volume measuring section: ≤ 45° rotated in relation to the horizontal axis.
The casing must not be installed facing upwards or downwards.
Only install the computer unit vertically, slanting or horizontally.
Always insert the sensor cable from below.
Notes on installing temperature sensors
To correctly capture small temperature differences, the temperature sensor should be
installed directly dipped (i.e. without the immersion pocket) – this is prescribed up to DN
25 for new cold meter installations and is mandatory. The sensor can also be installed for
the DN 40 in a special ball valve with special sensors.
Install temperature sensors at locations with the same and higher flow speed.
To reduce measurement differences caused by installation, use a diffusion resistant
insulation. Design the isolation so that no condensate can penetrate into the insulation
of the pipeline via the temperature sensor.
Displays/operation
It is possible to flip through the individual displays by pressing the push-button. In doing
so, we distinguish between pressing the button briefly and longer pressing.
A brief press of the button (< 3 seconds) is switched within a loop.
If you press the button longer (> 3 seconds) it switches to the next loop.
Error codes
If an error occurs, the error code is shown in the main loop. All the other windows remain
available via pressing the button.
