Use only mattress which is 200 cm long and 90 cm wide with a thickness not greater than
18 cm.
•
Always use the recommended size mattress to help prevent the likelihood of entrapment or
falls.
•
Top surface of mattress must be at least 160 mm below the upper edge of guardrails. The
mattress thickness shall not exceed the line marking indicated on the side rail of the upper
bunk/high bed.
•
During assembly ensure all assembly fasteners are properly tightened and care should be
taken that no fittings are loose.
•
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their
proper position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
•
Do not use the bunk bed if any parts are broken or missing. Do not use substitute parts.
Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
•
Prohibit more than one person on upper bunk/high bed.
•
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
•
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk/high bed.
•
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk/
high bed.
•
Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk/high bed.
