Operation
8. Operation
8.1. Autostart
AUTOSTART mode ensures that the charging station is always ready to provide the recharging service, without needing to identify
the client who wants to activate it. Just insert the plug to begin the recharging operation.
To end the charging session, stop it first on the car (the method will change depending on the car model; we suggest you refer to the
manual of your vehicle to find the right method). The cable can now be removed from the car, terminating the charging operation.
The station will now allow you to remove the plug.
8.2. Stand-Alone with RFID card reader
When charging with RFID cards, the session is activated and interrupted by using the RFID cards supplied by the provider and already
added to the local White List of that station.
8.3. Stand-Alone with Restart and RFID card reader
The Restart function enables the automatic reactivation of the residual current protection in the event of ill-timed triggering.
If the residual current circuit breaker is triggered:
1) the floor-mounting charging station indicates the anomaly and stops the vehicle charging process
2) the user must disconnect the vehicle from the column
3) Restart checks the insulation of the circuit inside the column
4) if the insulation check is OK, Restart reactivates the residual current protection;
if the outcome is negative, the column anomaly remains active.
8.4. Via mobile app and OCPP cloud platform
In "connected" mode, the charging station is connected to a control platform using the OCPP protocol. This platform is used to control
and monitor the station while it's working, and save the recharging sessions. The end client can also autonomously access the service
via a mobile app or via RFID cards linked with his/her profile.
