Operating instructions Libel Xtra 350i

The design of this Xtra 350i interior pump has been based on the latest technical developments. The
pump is suitable for use in aquariums and fountains inside houses. It can be set up both in the water
and next to the water. The pump has been developed on the basis of so-called synchronous technology,
where the electrical component parts are completely sealed in epoxy resin.
Please read these operating instructions through carefully before connecting the pump.
Use
The pump is equipped with an economical, powerful and reliable motor. It has been designed
exclusively for use inside houses.
Initial operation
Never let the pump run dry. Set the pump up at least 0.15 m and maximum 1 m below the water surface
on a sturdy base, free from mud, sand or other soiling. Attach the extension pipe in such a way that the
spray head projects above the water surface.
Safety regulations
A power supply in compliance with the requirements in the product specifications must be guaranteed.
Please heed the regulations of your local utilities company regarding connection conditions, if
appropriate. In the case of deviations on the pump or the mains cable: Do not connect to the power
supply!
Never use the cable to carry the pump. Never cut the plug off or shorten the cable. You will lose your
warranty claims if you do not heed these regulations. Keep the connection (plug and socket) dry. Switch
the current off before cleaning the pump. If the cable is faulty, it cannot be replaced, the device has to
be destroyed.
Maintenance and cleaning
The pump does not require lubrication or any particular maintenance work. It is sufficient if you check
the filter housing regularly for soiling and clean it using clean water. If the pump housing is heavily soiled
you will have to remove the housing from the motor unit and remove the rotor carefully. Reassemble the
pump in reverse order once you have finished the cleaning work.
Warranty

A warranty performance for material and manufacturing faults is valid for this product for a period of
2 years from the date of purchase. Movable parts, which are thus subject to wear, are not covered by
this warranty. The original invoice must be presented to prove the validity of the warranty claims. If the
above instructions and installation regulations are not observed, all warranty claims shall be invalid.
The manufacturer and supplier are not responsible for follow-on damage due to faults on the pump.
Preliminary filters and impeller are not included in the above-mentioned warranty performance.
