Before the washing cycle, first disconnect the plug connection and thus
remove the plug from the electric underblanket (see illustration).
Set the washing machine to a delicate washing cycle at 60 °C. Use a
mild detergent with dosage according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Only reconnect the switch to the electric underblanket after the plug con-
nection and the electric underblanket are completely dry. Note that the
electric underblanket will suffer from too frequent washing. For its entire
life, therefore, the electric underblanket should be washed not more than
5 times in a washing machine.
Note that the electric underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, machine dried or ironed. On
no account switch on the electric underblanket to dry it. Do not hang up the electric underblanket
with clothes pegs or similar to dry it.
4.1 Storage
If you are not using the electric underblanket for a long period of time, we recommend that you keep
it in its original packaging in a dry place with no weight placed on it.
4.2 Disposal
Please dispose of the blanket in accordance with the directive 2002/96/EG – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any queries, please refer to the local
authorities responsible for waste disposal.
