Moduuli liitetään piirustuksen osoittamalla tavalla auton 24 V sähköjärjestelmään ja 12 V sähkölaitteeseen. Kytke
vastaavien sulakkeiden kautta. Moduuli lämpenee kuormasta riippuen. Se täytyy siksi asentaa hyvin tuletettuun paikkaan, jossa
ei myöskään moduulin lämpeneminen (maks. n. 50 astetta) voi vaikuttaa negatiivisesti ympäristöön (pieni keramiikkaosa
moduulin pinnassa tule erityisen kuumaksi).
Moduulissa on sähköinen suojaus oikosulkua, ylikuormaa ja ylikuumenemista vastaan. Ylikuormalla se kytkeytyy pois ja
jäähdyttyään riittävästi automaattisesti taas päälle. Tarkista, että liität moduulin oikein, piirustuksen mukaan. Väärä liitäntä
tuhoaa moduulin! Moduulin suurin teho 1,1 A (> 13 W) riittää tavallisesti autoradion, kasettisoittimen jne. käyttöön. Jos
kuitenkin tarvitset enemmän tehoa, voit jälkeenpäin kytkeä yhden tai useamman M020 moduulin rinnan tehon kasvattamiseksi.
Kemo valmistaa myös moduulin M038 suurempaa tehoa varten (maks. 3 A).
Huom! Tämä moduuli pystyy vain pudottamaan jännitteen 24 V= 12 V= jännitteeseen. Se ei pysty kaksinkertaistamaan
jännitettä (12 V= 24 V= jännitteeksi)! Siihen tarvitaan Kemo-moduulia M029!
Määräyksenmukainen käyttö:
12 V= laitteiden liitäntä kuorma-autojen, laivojen, kauppa-autojen, matkailuautojen jne. 24 V= sähköjärjestelmään.

Assembly instructions + setting into operation:
Connect the module with the 24 V supply system and the 12 V consumer according to the drawing. Please connect ade-
quate fuses in series. The module heats up depending on the load. Therefore, it must be mounted in a well ventilated place
where the heating up of the module (max. approx. 50 degree C) may not have any negative effects on the surroundings
(especially the small ceramic part on top of the module gets very hot).
The module is protected electronically against short-circuit, overload and overheating. It switches off in case of overheating and
switches on again automatically after sufficient cooling. Please pay attention to the correct connection according to the drawing.
The module will be destroyed in case of wrong connection! The maximum power of the module of 1.1 A (> 13 watt) is usually suf-
ficient to operate car radios, cassette recorders, etc. If, however, more power is required, you may connect one or several mod-
ules M020 in parallel afterwards in order to increase the power in addition.
For higher capacities Kemo also manufactures the module M038 (max. 3 A).
Attention! This module may only reduce voltage from 24 V= to 12 V=. It may not double the voltage the other way round (from 12
V= to 24 V=)! For this purpose you may use the Kemo module M029!
Use as directed:
For connection of 12 V= devices at a 24 V= supply system in trucks, ships, vending vehicles, camping cars, etc.

Gebruiksaanwijzing + ingebruikname:
Het moduul wordt volgens tekening op de 24 V aanwezige spanning aangesloten, en aangesloten aan het apparaat wat
12 V nodig heeft. Het is aan te raden om in de spanningleidingen een zekering te plaatsen, omdat het moduul afhankelijk van
het afgenomen vermogen warm wordt. Door deze warmte is ook aan te raden om het moduul goed te plaatsen, de denken aan
een goed geventileerde omgeving, en de omgeving moet ook de warmte (max. ca. 50 graden C) kunnen verdragen (de
bovenkant van het moduul van keramisch materiaal wordt zeer heet).
Het moduul is electronisch gezekerd tegen kortsluiting, overbelasting en oververhitting. Bij oververhitting schakelt het uit en bij
voldoende afkoeling automatisch weer aan. Maar let wel op het goede aansluiten, volgens de tekening. Bij verkeerd aansluiten
gaat het moduul direkt defekt. Het vermogen van het moduul bij 1,1 A (> 13 Watt) is voldoende voor een normale autoradio,
cassette recorder etc. Als u toch meer vermogen nodig heeft, kunt u meerdere modulen parallel schakelen om een hogere
stroom te krijgen.
Mocht u dit niet willen, Kemo heeft ook een module die zwaarder is namenlijk max. 3 A, Kemo no M038.
Let op! Dit moduul kan de spanning reduceren van 24 V= naar 12 V=. Maar kan niet omgekeerd de spanning verdubbelen (van
12 V= naar 24 V=)! Daarvoor geeft het Kemo moduul M029!
Speciale toepassing:
Het aansluiten van 12 V apparaten, aan een 24 V aanwezige spanning, bijvoorbeeld in vrachtauto's, schepen, campers etc.
