Using the Lens Hood

To prevent deterioration of image quality due to internal reflection of light, use a lens
hood.
Depending on the model of lens, hood installation may differ.
Align the mount index on the lens hood and the mount index on the lens.
Install the lens hood as shown in the picture.

When using the zoom lens
 When installing the lens hood, be careful not to rotate the focus ring or zoom ring.
 When not using the lens hood, you can attach the lens hood on the lens in the opposite direction.
 A lens hood is not available for some lenses.
