Do not use a chemically treated or antistatic cloth to clean the appliance.
Do not use gasoline, solvent, polish or similar solvents.
These products could cause the breakage or deformation of the plastic sur-
face.
Make sure the appliance is completely dry before reconnecting the plug to the
power socket.
Do not allow dust too accumulate in order to avoid malfunctions.
4.1.b - Dust sensor cleaning (fig.E)
a. Clean the dust sensor inlet and outlet using a soft brush.
b. Open the lid and clean the dust sensor (11) using a slightly wet cotton stick.
c. Dry them with a dry cotton wool and close the lid.
Monthly cleaning is advised for optimal operation of the appliance.
Do not use a strong water jet which may damage the filter.
4.2 - MAINTENANCE
4.2.a - Pre-filter (2a)
a. Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner or wash it under running water. Use a soft brush if necessary
(fig.F).
Do not use sharp objects to clean the pre-filter (2a).
4.2.b - HEPA filter (2b) and active carbon filter (3)
a. Clean the filters using a vacuum cleaner or a soft-bristled brush to remove the dust (fig.G).
b. If necessary, it is possible to make the filters dry under direct sunlight.
Cleaning is advised every 3 months for optimal operation of the appliance.
The filters (2b) and (3) cannot be washed.
