M040 operation is either in
Absolute (A) or Relative (D)
mode. Absolute zero point
is set during assembly.
The zero point (A) is fixed
at the mechanical zero
position (slide concentric
to spindle centreline).
In Relative mode (D), the
zero can be set at any
position.
