General
170PC pressure sensors are four-active-element piezoresistive
bridges.
When pressure is applied, a differential output voltage,
proportional to that pressure, is produced.
Gauge pressure sensors measure applied pressure with respect to
ambient pressure. When applied pressure increases, the differential
voltage between pins 2 and 4 increases (voltage at pin 2, with respect
to ground, increases and voltage at pin 4 decreases). As pressure
decreases, differential voltage between 2 and 4 decreases.
Differential sensors provide a differential voltage proportional to the
pressure differential between ports P2 and P1. As P2-P1 increases,
differential voltage increases.

Soldering
Limit soldering to 315¡C, 10 seconds duration, maximum.
Cleaning
Proper cleaning fluids should be selected, based on type of
contaminant to be removed. Alcohols or fluorinated solvents should be
suitable for general purpose use, subject to customer evaluation.

Dry gases only.
P2:
Materials in contact with media are polyester, epoxy
adhesive and silicon bonded to borosilicate glass with an
electrostatic process.
