INSTRUCTIONS FOR SWITCH
Disconnect the power from the pump before attempting to replace the switch. Works with many
WARNING
brands and models of submersible sump pumps (TETHERED SWITCH: Max. rating 13A at 125V/60Hz .
VERTICAL SWITCH: Max. rating 10A at 125V/60Hz).
Before assembling: You must remove the direct-in switch and insert the shunt plug (included) to the pump to check if the pump
can work normally if your pump is assembled with a direct-in switch.

Plug the pump plug into 115V GFCI outlet, If the pump works, the float switch needs to be replaced.
If the pump doesn't work, the motor has failed.

1. Unscrew the oat cord nut.
Unplug the oat plug and
remove the old switch from the
pump.
1. Remove the old switch and
clamp from the pump.
Notice:
Keep the old clamp
and screw for next step.
2. Check the distance between
the oat and clamp and adjust
the distance to 4 in.(±0.5 in.).
Screw the clamp and switch
onto the pump.
1. Attach the bracket and switch
to the discharge pipe with
clamp, being sure to keep the
vertical switch vertical.
Notice: The bottom of the
float ball must be above
(1/2in.-1in.) the outlet of the
pump.
2. Tie the power cords of pump
and vertical switch to the
discharge pipe with cable tie
(included).
