Reverse operation system (ROS)
Your tractor is equipped with the Reverse
Operation System (ROS). An attempt to
reverse the tractor with the attachment clutch
engaged will turn off the engine unless the
ignition key is in the ROS "On" position.
Warning!
It is not recommended to mow in
reverse gear with the attachment
clutch engaged. The actuation of the
ROS system, which allows reverse
operation with clutch engaged, shall
be done only when necessary to
reposition the machine with the
attachment coupled to it. Avoid
mowing in reverse unless absolutely
necessary.
To use the reverse operation system
Use this system only when absolutely sure
children and adults are not in the mowing
area.
1. Fully depress clutch/brake pedal and hold.
2. With the engine running, turn ignition key
counterclockwise to the ROS "On"
position.
3. Look down and behind before reversing.
4. Shift motion control lever to reverse position
(R) and slowly release clutch/brake pedal to
start motion.
5. When the ROS system is no longer
necessary, turn the ignition key to the
engine "on" position.
How to use the tractor on hills

slopes greater than 15° and do not
drive across any slope. Refer to the

Shift motion control lever to first gear. Check
whether there is enough room for tractor to
move fast when starting it.

To restart movement, slowly release
parking brake and clutch/brake pedal.
✔
Make all turns slowly.
How to transport the tractor
Raise attachment lift lever to highest
✔
position with attachment lift control.
✔
When pushing or towing your tractor,
motion control lever shall always be in
neutral (N) position.
Do not push or tow tractor at more than 3
