FIRE PIT ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
A Phillips or plain screwdriver and
an adjustable wrench is needed for
assembly.
Assembly time: 15 minutes
STEP 1: ASSEMBLE THE LEGS
Take each of the (4) legs [ E ] and assemble
them to the firebowl [ C ] as shown using (8)
washers [ I ] and M8 hexnuts [ H ]. Tighten
securely with adjustable wrench.
STEP 2: ASSEMBLE THE RING SECTIONS
AND THE PINS
Assemble each of the (3) ring sections [ D ] to
the firebowl using (2) 25MM bolts [ I ] for
each section. For each ring section, assemble
(1) pin [ M ] as shown between the bolt and
the firebowl. Be sure the pins are evenly
spaced. Tighten bolts securely.
STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE SPARK GUARD
HOOK
Assemble the spark guard hook [ T ] to the
spark guard [ A ] using (1) 16MM bolt [ V ],
spark guard washer [ U ] and M6 hexnut [ W ].
STEP 4: PLACE SPARK GUARD ONTO
THE PINS
Place the assembled spark guard onto the
three pins [ M ].
STEP 5: ADD SAND
Before using, add a 1-1.5 in. layer of sand or
about 5 lbs. (size wise, its the same amount as
a 5 lb. bag of sugar) to the bottom of the
firebowl. This will help against the corrosive
nature of the ashes and help radiate the heat
upwards.
COOKING GRATE ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
No tools required.
Assembly time: less than 5 minutes
The cooking grate can be used in 2 ways:
1) On the pivoting rod
2) On the pins
PIVOTING COOKING GRATE
The cooking grate can be adjusted by height
and can be pivoted off the fire.
STEP 1: REMOVE SPARK GUARD
Remove the spark guard from the fire pit.
STEP 2: ASSEMBLE THE GRATE ROD
Place the grate rod [ Q ] into the firebowl
rod holder. Keep the rod in place by
threading the wingnut [ S ] into the rod
holder.
STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE COOKING
GRATE ONTO THE GRATE ROD
Place the cooking grate [ P ] onto the grate
rod [ Q ] and lock the grate in place by
threading the T-bolt into the grate. Adjust
the cooking grate height before cooking.
NON-ADJUSTABLE COOKING GRATE
The cooking grate is placed on the pins and
is non-adjustable.
STEP 1: REMOVE SPARK GUARD
Remove the spark guard from the fire pit.
STEP 2: PLACE THE COOKING GRATE
ONTO THE PINS
If the T-bolt [ R ] is assembled to the cooking
grate [ P ], remove and set in a safe place.
Align and place the cooking grate onto the
(3) pins [ M ]. The pins will keep the cooking
grate in position during use.
