Remove the contents from box and check for damage. Verify all parts are present. Read instructions

Loosen rear shackle bolt facing outside of vehicle. CAUTION: Do not remove.

Remove smaller shackle bolt located just above leaf spring and to the rear of shackle mount. Attach rear

bracket with bolt just removed. NOTE: It may be necessary to install rear step bar bolt through slot in
brackets prior to attaching to vehicle. Also, raising vehicle frame with a jack will provide more clearance
around shackle bolt if needed.
Attach front top frame bracket over top edge of frame where it has clearance and slide it next to body
STEP 4.
mount as shown. NOTE: 2 door models, brackets may be tight against the floor. It may be necessary to
tap it over with a hammer.
Position front bottom frame bracket against frame and align hole with the top frame bracket.

Insert 1/2" fasteners through bottom frame bracket, poly tube and thread into top frame bracket as

- Página 2 Attach step bar to brackets using 1/2” fasteners as shown. Leave loose. Repeat for opposite side. STEP 7. Make sure step bar and brackets are properly aligned with vehicle and tighten fasteners. Recommended STEP 8. torque values are 64 FT.LBS. for 1/2”fasteners and small shackle bolts to 50 FT.LBS. FINISH PROTECTION Westin products have a high quality finish that must be cared for like any other exposed finish on the vehicle.
