II. INTRODUCTION
The THERMOFLASH® LX-260T EVOLUTION is a revolutionary electronic medical infrared
thermometer, equipped with the all-new automatic calibration technology MicroSecondFlash™
developed by Visiomed®. Easy to use, it measures the body temperature at a distance of 2 to 5
cm (0.79 to 1.97 in), in less than one second. ThermoFlash® is an infrared thermometer specially
designed to take the body temperature of children or adults without contact with the body. It
can be used at home or by health professionals.
However, it is imperative to use the ThermoFlash® appropriately in order to obtain a reliable
and stable result. It is therefore advisable to read the instruction manual and safety instructions
before use. ThermoFlash® is suitable for the whole family.
III. PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
The THERMOFLASH® LX-260T EVOLUTION is preset at the factory. It is not necessary to calibrate
the device when starting it up.
In order to obtain a reliable and stable result, it is advisable at every change of environment, with
significant ambient temperature difference, to leave the THERMOFLASH® LX-260T EVOLUTION
at this ambient temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before using it. Before any new temperature
measurement, wait for the screen to turn off. It is important to respect a minimum of 3 minutes
between each temperature measure.
- Clean the glass with a cotton swab slightly soaked in 70° alcohol.
- Do not put the thermometer in contact with diseased, ulcerated or wounded skin.
