1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing our products! CHI Home will repair or re-
place (at our option) your appliance free of charge for 12 months from
the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or
materials. Any problems arising from misuse, attempts at repair, drop-
ping or extreme wear are not covered by this warranty.
The store where this item was purchased is authorized to make an
exchange only if the return is made within 30 days from the purchase
date. For exchanges after 30 days, send the appliance postage paid
along with proof of purchase, a note explaining the malfunction or
problem being experienced, and $15.00 US to cover handling, in-
surance, and return postage costs to: CHI Home, Customer Service
Department, 880 E. Richey Road, Houston, TX 77073, USA. (United
States only: California residents are not required to send payment).
In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12
months from the date of manufacture.
CHI Home wants you to be satisfied with your appliance purchase
and makes the following one (1) year limited warranty for CHI Home
appliances purchased through an authorized retailer. This warranty
does NOT cover appliances purchased through internet auction sites
or other internet sales not associated with an authorized retailer.
How Long Does The Warranty Last? One (1) year from the date of
purchase.
Limitations. (A) THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
GOOD AND WORKMANLIKE PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE, OR
OTHERWISE ON THIS PRODUCT, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION
OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE WHICH IS ONE
(1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
(B) CHI HOME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES THAT ARISE OUT OF THE INSTALLATION,
USE, OR OPERATION OF ITS APPLIANCES OR OUT OF THE BREACH
OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. (C) APPLIANCES
PURCHASED THROUGH INTERNET AUCTION SITES OR FROM
ANY OUTLET OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER ARE NOT
COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. (D) ANY ALTERATION OR REMOVAL
OF THE SERIAL NUMBER OR OTHER IDENTIFYING MARKS ON THE
APPLIANCE OR PACKAGING WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY.
