Address Lite
™
This Address Lite™ is a low voltage outdoor unit and will operate in a range of 14-24 volts (18 volts preferred),
5 volt amps AC/DC minimum as produced by most household doorbell or garage door opener transformers.
Mounting:
1. Remove lens, wire and accessories. Hold fixture
base against surface where it will be attached. For
best visual appearance make sure unit is level and
in an unobstructed, well visible area. Mark for
mounting fastener screws and hole for low voltage
wire (hole above bulbs).
2. Drill 1/4" pilot holes for anchors. Drill another hole
through wall to run low voltage wire.
3. Fasten fixture to wall with large screws and anchors
supplied.
4. Remove 1/2" of insulation from both ends of
supplied bell wire. Push the two bell wires through
middle hole in the base leaving approximately 2"
remaining in base. Attach each wire to metal clips
on base (if bulbs are not inserted into plastic socket,
push firmly into location).
5. Attach other end of bell wire to transformer on other
side of wall, (see diagram below for reference).
Check to determine if light bulbs operate. If bulbs do
not operate, check wiring connections. If bulbs light,
place lens in base by aligning holes on sides of lens
with holes in base. Insert the two small screws
supplied into each side panel.
Bulbs have been pre-tested at the factory, however, if
they have been damaged in transit, obtain
replacement bulbs from your local auto supply or
hardware store. Bulbs are wired in series, which
means if one bulb should fail, the other bulb will not
light. Bulbs are rated at 14V, .24 to .17 amps each. For
replacement use G.E. #124 14 V .27 amp wedge base
automotive lamp or comparable brand.
Installations further than 100 feet from a transformer
may require heavier wire - check with your electrical
lighting supplier.
Note: Unit can be wired directly to existing doorbell
wires, but this will normally decrease light output.
Also, unit will dim briefly when pressing doorbell
button if connected to doorbell wire instead of
transformer.
Caution: Low voltage application only. Do not connect wires directly to household outlet. Must be connected
to low voltage transformer only or Westek

Applying Numbers:
The maximum number of characters that can be
mounted is five.
1. Remove lens from Address Lite™ and place on flat
surface.
2. Peel the first number from the backing material and
apply to lens.
3. The number should be placed so that the top
touches the upper scribed line.
4. The horizontal spacing is determined by the number
of characters to be mounted. Care should be taken
to center the characters on the lens.
5. If placed incorrectly, the numbers can be removed
by carefully lifting an edge with a knife or other
sharp object and peeling it off.
6. When the numbers are properly placed, press firmly
with a paper towel to remove any air bubbles
trapped under the vinyl.
7. The lens is now ready for assembly on the Address
Lite™.
