3. Install and Run LaCie Network Assistant
1. Install LaCie Network Assistant on your computer from the LaCie Utilities
CD-ROM. Then:
• Windows users, click the Network Assistant icon in the menu bar.
• Mac users, click the Network Assistant icon in the menu bar.
• Linux users, click the Network Assistant icon in the task bar.
2. A) To access files, select "LaCie-XXXXXXXXX" (X may be any alphanumeric
character) from the menu, and in the submenu select "PUBLIC".
B) To access the administration page, select "LaCie-XXXXXXXXX" (X may be
any alphanumeric character) from the menu, and in the submenu select
"Web access". Next, click on the "Administration" link and enter:
• Login: administrator
• Password: admin

4. Obtain Back up Software (Optional)
Compatible versions of Intego Backup Assistant
software can be downloaded from the LaCie web site and used to back up
workstations connected to the Ethernet Disk. To obtain it, first register your
product at www.lacie.com/register, then download the software from the
Ethernet Disk product page.
