Parallel guide N (Fig. 4) is placed in base grooves
O (Fig. 4) and secured in place using the two knobs
P (Fig.4).
ADJUSTING THE BRACKET OF THE MACHINE
1.- Normal Adjustment- Loosen knobs P1 and P2,
move the bracket to the desired position.
2.- Precision adjustment- Having moved the bracket
and fixed it in the approximate position, loosen
knob P1 and regulate using the adjustment wheel
Z. Once the precise position has been obtained,
secure knob P1.
11. USE OF TEMPLATE GUIDES
Template guides are used for copy cutting of richly
shaped patterns. Selected template guide Q (Fig.
5) is fixed to base R (Fig. 5) using the two screws S
(Fig.5).
When copying, a diffrence in size between the
template and the routed item becomes apparent.
The difference between the radius of the template
guide and the radius of the tool must always be
taken into account when preparing the template.
12. DUST COLLECTOR ATTACHMENT
When mounting the attachment T (Fig. 4), put it in
central notch R of the base (Fig. 4), orientating the
connection towards the front and fixing it in place
with screws U (Fig. 4).
The FR66 machine can be coupled directly to the
aspiration tube of aspirators AS182K or AS282K
using connector T (Fig. 4), or to the AS182K,
AS282K or other industrial aspirator via the 3.5 m
Standard Dust Collector Attachment 6446073, V
(Fig. 4).
13. CHANGING THE BRUSHES (Fig. 6)
WARNING! Disconnect the machine from the
mains before performing any maintenance
operations.
The brushes must be replaced when they reach
the minimum length of 5 mm. For this purpose,
remove the switch box A (Fig. 6) by removing the
screws which hold it in place. Remove plugs X (Fig.
6) which hold brushes Y (Fig. 6) and replace them
with new original VIRUTEX brushes, ensuring that
they slide smoothly through the guides. We
recommend running the unloaded machine for
several minutes after changing the brushes. Take
the opportunity to check the condition of the
collector. If it shows signs of burning or wear and
tear, we recommend bringing it to a VIRUTEX
technical service centre for repair. When
reassembling switch box A, take care to ensure
that the cables are properly located inside it.

14. LUBRITATION AND CLEANING
The machine is delivered fully lubricated from the
factory and does not require any special care
during its working life. It is important to clean the
machine carefully after use, using a dry air jet.
Maintain the supply cable in perfect operating
conditions.

16. NOISE AND VIBRATION LEVEL
The noise and vibration levels of this electrical
device have been measured according to the
European standard EN50144.
The noise level in the workplace can exceed 85
dB(A), in which case it is necessary for the user to
take noise protection measures.
17. WARRANTY
All VIRUTEX power tools are guaranteed for 12
months from the date of purchase, exlcuding any
domage which is a result of incorrect use or of
natural wear and tear on the machine. All repairs
should be carried out by the official VIRUTEX
technical assistance service.
