INSTALLATION
STEP 1: CHOOSE INSTALL LOCATION
This installation will use the power and
linking cords included with your ProLink
light fixtures. Make sure that the 5ft. power
cord will reach the nearest outlet and that
the 18in. linking cord will be able to reach
the nearest light fixture. The mounting
location should be indoors, dry and able
to support the module.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL WITH
THE POWER ON.
STEP 2: MARK SCREW LOCATIONS
With a pencil, mark the screw locations
using the keyholes on either end of the
module for guidance.

STEP 3: PRE-DRILL HOLES
Pre-drill holes for the screws using the
pencil markings for guidance. Use a 1/16in.
drill bit.

STEP 4: INSERT SCREWS
Insert the screws with a #1 Phillips
screwdriver, leaving 1/8in. beyond
the surface.
STEP 5: MOUNT MODULE
Align the keyholes on the module with the
screws and slide it into place. Tighten the
screws as needed using only the screwdriver.

STEP 6: CONNECT WITH LIGHT FIXTURE
Insert the linking cord (included with your
ProLink light fixtures) into the "Dim" port on
the module and connect it with the closest
fixture. Alternatively, using the second
output port provides your fixtures with full
pass-through power, but NOT dimming.

STEP 7: PLUG INTO OUTLET
Insert the power cord into the port on the
module. Then, plug the power cord into a
120VAC 60Hz outlet.
OPERATION
OPERATION
Slide the switch towards the connected
ProLink fixture or puck to increase
brightness. Slide the switch away to
decrease the brightness.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Connected Light does not change
brightness with Slide Dimmer: Verify
the connected ProLink light product is
connected to the output connecter labled
"Dim."
Connected Light is dim or operates
erratically: Verif connected ProLink
lighting products do not exceed electrical
ratings of the ProLink Slide Dimmer
Module. DO NOT EXCEED 100 WATTS of
connected ProLink light products.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product is intended only for use
with lighting fixtures that are specifically
compatible with the ProLink linking
system.
• Do not install the module while plugged
in or with plugged in lighting fixtures.
• Do not alter the connectors in any way.
• Save these instructions for future use.
THE TOTAL SUM OF THE WATTAGE
RATING FOR ALL CONNECTED LIGHT
FIXTURES MUST NOT EXCEED 100
WATTS.
WARNINGS TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE,
ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be
fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
• Read the entire installation procedure before
you begin.
• Not to be used with a dimming circuit or any other
electronically switched control.
• Do not attempt to install the fixture while
plugged in.

a later time.
