7. Functional test of the Bluetooth module
Power on the VIT-A2. The Bluetooth LED should light up after about
35 seconds. This means that the VIT-A2 detected the module and is
ready for operation. As soon as you have installed VIT-A2 Watch
PDA Setup on the PDA, radio contact can be established between
the VIT-A2 and the PDA. For more details, see the description for
VIT-A2 Watch PDA Setup on the CD.
8. Checking the supplied firmware version
Connect the VIT-A2 to a PC which has the VIT-A2 Watch software
installed on it.
In the Advanced menu, check the firmware installed on the device.
It should be the same firmware version on the VIT-A2 as on the
supplied CD. If the version installed on the VIT-A2 is older, download
the new version from the CD.
In the program VIT-A2 Watch in the File menu, you can install the
firmware from the CD to the VIT-A2 under Firmware update.
