3.2 Fitting
It is not necessary to remove the plugs connected to the
sub−base when the sub−base is dismantled.
Dismantling the I/O module (see diagram in section 2):
1. Unscrew the screws 6 and carefully lift off the sub−
base 1.
2. If necessary: Pull the electronic module 2 carefully
out of the contact rails.
Fit the I/O module (if already removed):
1. Press the electronic module carefully into the manifold
sub−base 3.
2. Check the seal and sealing surfaces and refit the
sub−base.
3. Place the screws so that the self−cutting threads are
used. Tighten the screws by hand in diagonally
opposite sequence. Tightening torque 0.9...1.1 Nm.
3.3 Installation
The fitting of actuators and sensors to the I/O module
depends on the sub−base used.
