5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Fitting tools (see fig. 2)
Attention ! : This machine use an SDS-PLUS fastening sleeve.
Use only this kind of drill bits
ü Clean the SDS-Plus drill bit and grease with a thin layer of
machine grease before fitting.
ü Pull back the fastening sleeve (2)
ü Insert the drill bit into the fastening sleeve, rotating the tool until it
reach the bottom.
ü Release the fastening tool. The tool will lock automatically.
ü Check that it has locked by pulling the tool.
Changing the SDS-Plus tool (see fig. 3)
ü Pull back the fastening sleeve (2)
ü Hold and remove the drill bit
ü Release the fastening tool.
5.2 Operating switch
Switch on : Press the switch (5)
To start operating with tool, press the switch (5), while to stop release it.
Attention ! : Use always this rotary hammer with handle (4) mounted on for
safety purpose and to operate correctly.
5.3 Ruler (see fig. 5)
ü To insert the ruler (6) loosen the handle (4) turning it
counterclockwise.
ü Insert the ruler by the right side into the hole.
ü Adjust the position desired and then tight the handle.
5.4 Dust protector (see fig.6)
ü Use the dust protector (1) when operating vertically overhead.
ü Pull the dust protector over the drill bit
5.5 Rotation – Percussion - Chipping
This hammer can be used simultaneously with the
rotation/percussion
(chipping function).
Rotation /Percussion : To work simultaneously with both the perforation and percussion
functions turn the selection switches (3 and 4) as shown in FIG. 1.
