WARNING:
This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit
up unaided. When a child is able to sit, kneel or to pull itself up this product must not be
used with this child. Keep away from fire. Use only the pad provided by manufacturer.
NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding. If a sheet is used with
pad, use only the one provided by the manufacturer or one specially designed to fit the
dimension of the bassinet mattress. Prevent possible strangulation or entanglement,
never use bassinet sheet unless it fits securely on bassinet mattress. To reduce the risk of
SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your physician. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items
with string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend
strings over a bassinet or cradle or attach strings to toys. Do not use the bassinet to carry
children around. Do not leave child unattended in the bassinet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Caregivers should discontinue using all bassinets when a baby begins
to push up on their hands and knees. This developmental characteristic varies from child
to child but typically occurs at approximately 3 to 4 months of age or when the child is
approximately 15-20 lbs (6.8 - 9.1 kg). MUNCHKIN, Inc. recommends that you discontinue
use of the Travel Bassinet at 3 months, 15 lbs (6.8 kg) or when your baby begins to push
up on their hands and knees – whichever comes first.
