• HTK530LS and RS come with a silver door stop
for use with refrigerator door.
A — Left hinge application

D — Right hinge application

15. Remove freezer door stop and all screws from
bottom of door with a Phillips screwdriver. Save door
stop.
16. Install new freezer door bottom trim by installing
screws in inside holes. Install door stop on left side
of bottom trim by installing screws. Install and
tighten remaining screws. Bottom freezer trim will
have 2 sets of round holes on each end and 1 set of
round holes in the middle.
17. Install freezer handle with screws using a 6 mm hex
nut driver. Install handle by placing insert's top tab
in slot underneath handle, and slide insert in place.
Important
Permanent, double-sided tape is used to attach trim
pieces. Before removing paper backing, check
placement of trim pieces on door. Trim pieces may be
damaged if adjustment or removal is attempted after
installation.
18. Align freezer door left side trim. After checking
placement, peel off paper backing and press trim
in place. Freezer door left side trim will have a
flange on top end and be cupped on bottom end.
19. Align freezer door top trim. After checking place-
ment, peel off paper backing and press trim in
place. Freezer door top trim will have a flange on
the hinge side and will be cupped on handle side.
20. Install freezer trim plug by placing in right side top
freezer door hole.
21. Remove internal support rod inside right side of door
and install inside left side of door.

22. Install freezer door by setting on bottom left hinge
pin.
23. Install center hinge pin and door closure.
24. Remove 3 plastic plugs on top left of refrigerator
cabinet with a putty knife covered with masking
tape. Reinstall plugs on right side where top hinge
was located.
25. Install new top hinge bracket on top left of refriger-
ator by installing rear screws loosely with a 8 mm
hex nut driver. Set refrigerator door on door closure.
Install remaining screws from top hinge and tighten
all screws. Verify handle side of door
is approximately 3 mm higher than hinge side. Door
lowers when loaded with food and when panel is
installed.
26. Install top hinge cover with screw using a Phillips
screwdriver.
27. Install refrigerator door extension with Phillips
screwdriver as shown.

28. Align refrigerator door left side trim. After checking
placement, peel off paper backing and press trim in
place. Refrigerator door left side trim will be notched
with a flange on top end and cupped on bottom end.
29. Install refrigerator door top trim with screws using a
Phillips screwdriver. Refrigerator door top trim will
have a flange on handle side and cupped on hinge
side.
30. Install freezer door decorator panel by sliding in
from right side of door.
31. Align freezer door right side trim. After checking
placement, peel off paper backing and press trim in
place. Freezer door right side trim will be cupped on
both ends.
