LAMP ASSEMBLY
1. Remove lamp from packing placing lamp body (A) base flat
on a steady surface.
2. Refer to TUBE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL to install
tubes in lamp.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard 120v outlet
4. To turn the lamp ON raise shades (B, C), lower shades
to turn lamp OFF.
5. As needed to keep shades (B, C) in place, a coin can be
used to tighten or loosen either hinge nut (D). DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN or lamp may be damaged.
6. Additional features included in this lamp are as follows:
- Shades (B, C) swivel left to right. (Figure 2)
- Lamp swivels at base plate (G). (Figure 2)

TUBE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
1. Make sure that the lamp is not plugged into an electrical
socket.
2. If the lamp has been in use, allow it to cool approximately
5 minutes before proceeding.
3. To install tubes (E, F) into sockets, grasp the tube firmly in
your hand, position the tube so that the pins are aligned with
the socket receptacle then push the tube straight into the
socket until it "snaps" into place.
4. To remove a tube already installed in the lamp, grasp it firmly
at the base and, using a slight rocking motion, pull it straight
out of the socket. DO NOT twist or turn the glass part of
the tube. It is highly recommended to remove shade
prior to inserting tube.
Please note that in operation, OttLite tubes are not
dimmable.
This lighting system is designed for use with 2 OttLite type
tubes (style number PL13-E). Use of other products
voids the warranty and may result in damage to the
lighting system.
