Install reducer fitting (2, 1) into elbow fitting (4).
Install included elbow fitting (4) into inlet of
backup pump (3).
Install 3/4-in. CPVC, PEX or copper pipe (5) into
push-to-fit connector (1).
TESTING PUMP OPERATION
Verify that the control valve is set correctly. Raise
the float to activate the pump and then release
the float.The backup sump pump should continue
to run for approximately five seconds after the
