5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place three button batteries in the position
shown inside the compartment (8) and close
the cover tightly with the screw. Turn on the
light module by moving the switch (7) to the ON
position and place it inside the pocket on the
soft toy (3). It's now ready to use!
Young children can play at putting the various
eye and mouth parts (5) on the little monster's
face, forming an emotion and associating it with
the colour they choose by gently tapping the
monster's tummy (2).

5.2. LIGHT SEQUENCE
The sequence of colours followed by the
emotions buddy every time its tummy is tapped
is: yellow, red, blue, lilac and pink. If tapped
again after this last colour, the module turns
itself off until the tummy is tapped once more.
By default, the light (6) will turn itself off after
3 minutes, although it will come on again if the
tummy is pressed.
To switch the module off permanently, the
on/off switch (7) must be moved to the OFF
position.
6. MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the light module (6)
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean.
Cleaning your little monster (1)
Remove the light module (6) and the face
accessories (5) and place the soft toy in the
washing machine on a delicate or hand-wash
programme.
Cleaning the face accessories (5)
Hand wash using a damp cloth.
Battery replacement
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Remove the batteries with a non-metallic object.
3. Replace with three alkaline LR44.
4. Make sure the positive (+) side is facing up.
5. Close the cover securely.
Warning:
Dispose
immediately. Keep new and used batteries
away from children. If you think batteries
might have been swallowed or placed
inside any part of the body, seek immediate
medical attention.
