UNLOADING
1. With drum rotating, hold the tilt handles and tilt drum to pour concrete.
MOTOr OvErLOAD PrOTECTOr
The motor has a thermal overload protector. If the motor overheats for any reason, the
overload protector will shut off the motor. The motor must be allowed to cool down
before restarting. To restart:
1.
Place the ON/OFF switch in the OFF (O) position and unplug unit.
2.
Allow the motor to cool.
If using a quick set concrete, read the concrete manufacturer's
instructions for setting time.
3.
Plug in the unit and press the manual reset thermal protection button.
4.
Place ON/OFF switch in the ON (I) position.
TO CLEAN (FIG. 8)
DO NOT spray water in or around the motor assembly.
To reduce the risk of property damage. Do not allow cement to harden
in drum or any part of the cement mixer.
Between batches
1.
Place ON/OFF switch in the OFF (O) position.
2.
Loosen stability bolt (N). Rotate mixing drum (Q) to the position where debris from
drum can be dumped. Tighten stability bolt (N).
3.
Place ON/OFF switch in the ON (I) position.
4.
Pour a bucket of water into the drum and allow to run until the drum is clean.
5.
With drum rotating, hold the tilt handles, tilt the drum and dump the debris.
Cement mixer is ready to be used again.
After each use
1.
Place ON/OFF switch in the OFF (O) position.
2.
Loosen stability bolt (N). Rotate mixing drum (Q) to the position where debris from
drum can be dumped. Tighten stability bolt (N).
3.
Place ON/OFF switch in the ON (I) position.
4.
Spray water into the drum permitting it to run inside and outside of drum. Be
careful not to spray the gearbox/motor assembly area.
5.
Add a shovel full of aggregate (gravel) into the drum. Allow the drum to rotate for
two minutes, this will scour the inside of the drum.
6.
With drum rotating, hold the tilt handles, tilt the drum and dump the debris.
