GENERAL
This kit is intended to provide the necessary information to
modify the SR-4 and SR-5 Trailer Spring Brake Valves as a part
of a recall campaign. CAUTION: Failure to replace the
inlet/exhaust valve as instructed could render the trailer
unable to apply the parking/emergency spring brakes
during parking or in the event of a trailer supply line
failure.
NOTE: This kit services the SR-4 and SR-5 valves. To service
the SR-2 Trailer Spring Brake Valve order kit piece number
801364 by calling the Bendix recall support line at 1-800-478-
1793. The SR-2 modification kit contains items 3 through 6
shown above. If an SR-2 kit is not readily available this kit can
