Electric kettle Use instructions
This appliance is for household use only.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any
parts of the appliance into water or other fluids.
Do not use the appliance near explosives, highly flammable mate-
rials, gases or burning flames.
Do not allow children, disabled people or every pe-
ople without experience or technical ability to use
the appliance if they are not properly watched over.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance
used by or near children.

Use
Place the kettle on a flat, stable surface.
Remove the kettle body from the base and fill it with water, respecting MIN and MAX levels as indicated on the water level
indicator. Water can be filled by opening the lid or through the pouring spout. Close the lid and place the kettle body on the
base. Plug the appliance to the electrical socket.
Press on/off switch upwards and the kettle starts to operate. The power indicator lights up. When the switch and the light
turn off, water is ready for use. Press on/off switch downwards to interrupt the heating anytime.
Lift the kettle body only by the handle.
The kettle becomes very hot and must not be touched with hands directly.
The kettle must be used only with its base.
Disconnect the cord supply form the electric socket.
In case that by mistake, the kettle is turned on without water, the kettle will turn off automatically thanks to its safety device.
Usually when the kettle is new it could happen that the water has an altered taste, it is recommended to throw away the
water of the first uses. If the problem persists, fill the kettle to the maximum, add two teaspoons of baking soda, boil and
throw away the water, then rinse the kettle
Cleaning
Disconnect the plug from the socket.
Let the kettle cool down and clean it with a damp sponge.
Never use abrasive sponges for cleaning.
Descale regularly, preferably once a month or more frequently if the water is very hard.
To descale the kettle, you can use 8 degrees white vinegar, available on the market or citric acid as follows:
Fill the kettle with half a litre of vinegar, let it rest for an hour without heating, empty the kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times. Repeat
if necessary.
Otherwise boil half a litre of water, add 25 g of citric acid and leave for 15 minutes, empty the kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times.
Repeat if necessary.
Do not use other descaling methods other than those recommended.
