1. Introduction

The LMD03 is a label roll holder device with a label peeling func-
tion. The system consists of a support for the roll of labels, which
is dragged by a stepper motor. An adjustable optical sensor
identifies the presence of the label ready to be picked up by the
operator.

2. Safety

This chapter contains important information relating to
the safe use of the device. The device is compliant with the
prescribed safety standards. A non-compliant use can cause
damage to property and personal injuries.

2.1 Basic safety warnings

For a safe use of the device you must observe the following
safety rules:
• Before use, check the device to detect any visible exter-
nal damage. Do not operate the device if it is damaged
or if it has fallen.
