Installation Instructions
Setting up your Smartsense Bulb
Make sure the power to the socket is off.
Open the "Settings" cover on the side of the bulb using a Phillips' head
screwdriver (3.0-3.8 mm recommended). Do not open cover while bulb
is twisting into the socket.
Twist the knob to your preferred tie setting (1.5, 3, 6, or 15 minutes). This
3
is how long your Smartsense bulb will remain lit after motion is no
longer detected.
4
Choose whether you want Smartsense to turn on during the day by
sliding the toggle to Daytime ON (Smartsense will turn on when
detecting movement 24 hours a day) or Daytime OFF (Smartsense will
only turn on when detecting movement after dark).
5
Twist the Smartsense bulb into your existing floodlight fixture. Switch
the bulb on and off as normal.*
Smartsense requires constant power to operate. Smartsense will not
function properly if blocked or placed behind glass, plexiglass, or acrylic.
