Dear customer,
thank you for deciding on one of our quality products. In this manual we
will explain the functions and the handling of our device. Please take your
time to read through the manual and follow all safety and operational
instructions in order to achieve best results. If you have suggestions or
questions about this product please contact your dealer or our service
team. We would be delighted if you would recommend us and wish you
success with the use of this device.
1. Designated Use
Flying Insect Killer Professional 150 m² is designed to attract and kill
mosquitoes and other flight insects. The insects are attracted by the UV-
light and then electrocuted by the high voltage grid. Any other use as the
mentioned is not permitted! No liabilities will be taken for damages or
consequential damages or claims resulting out of not reading and/or not
following the user guide and/or any form of modification on or in the pro-
duct. Under these circumstances, no warranty services will be granted.
2. Important information on the function and use
Mosquitoes are nocturnal insects; they come out at dusk and are always
attracted by light. But they are also attracted by the smell of humans.
You should therefore try catching them before you use the room in ques-
tion. For a higher success rate you should consider the following points:
Hang or place the device in the darkest possible area of the room.

Never hang or place it near food or areas where food is processed.
•
Close windows and doors, and make sure that the device is not hung or
•
standing in the draught.
Put the lamp into operation at dusk approx. 1 – 1.5 hours before using
•
the room. The mosquitoes will find their way to the light faster without
a distraction.
When you need to use the room, put the lamp outside the room. This
•
will lure the mosquitoes out of the room.
Make sure that the environmental laws of your country for the use of
insect killers are followed. For environmental reasons, the outdoor use is
prohibited in Germany as beneficial insects (such as bees) could be killed.
Outdoor use is not allowed.
Note: the response of each insect to our insect killer may vary. The de-
velopment of our devices, methods and application tips are based on
experience, testing and feedback from our customers. The function of
attracting flying insects only applies to insects that react to light.
3. Safety Instructions
E lectrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not belong in the
•
hands of children. Children may not play with the device.
•
T he device may only be used with the stated voltage:
220 V – 240 V~, 50/60 Hz
T he device may only be used by children over eight years and people
•
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or the lack of
knowledge or experience, if they are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the device by a person responsible for their safety and
have understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
K eep this manual in a safe place
•
T his unit is suitable for indoor use only.
•
T he device must be protected from dampness, extreme cold and heat.
•
Make sure that the device has sufficient ventilation. It may only be
used indoors.
D o not use this device in the vicinity of explosive gases, vapours or ex-
•
cessive dust.
D o not remove any stickers from this device. The sticker may contain
•
important safety information.
•
I f the device should show any signs of damage or malfunction, do not
use it. Before touching it, first disconnect the fuse in the central fuse
box and then pull the device out of the socket.
R epairs may only be made by a qualified person
•
M ake sure that the cables do not become a hazard. Make sure that the
•
cables cannot become squashed or submitted to sharp edges or be da-
maged in any way. Make sure that the cable does not become a tripping
hazard.
M ake sure that the device is well ventilated during use. Do not cover it
•
with other items such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains.
•
T his device is not suitable for the use in agricultural buildings such as
barns, stables or similar places (fire hazard!)
Danger! The device generates a high voltage on the grid in the
trap. Never put anything between the grilles while the device is
in operation. To clean, unplug the device from the mains.

5. Operation
You can place the flying insect killer on a table, hang it up or fix it to the
wall. Please note that the device and the power cord should always be
placed out of the reach of children.
H ang the device on the included chain or place it in a safe place. Make
•
sure that the power cord is laid out in such a way that the device cannot
accidentally be pulled down. Hang the device at a height of 1,5m - 3m.
•
I f the unit is to be hung on the wall, use the brackets on the back of the
unit.
I nsert the mains plug into the mains socket; the device is now ready for
•
use.
T o switch on, press the red switch on the front of the device.
