To clean, do NOT use:
EN
- aggressive, corrosive or abrasive cleaning solutions (i.e. acetone, hydrochloric or sulphuric acid, caustic soda,
chlorine, bleach, ammonia, products used to clean silver, cleaning powders, etc.);
- abrasive or pointed tools (i.e. abrasive metal sponges, scrapers, steel brushes, etc.);
- steam or pressurised water sprays.
Do not allow products used to clean the stainless steel to come into contact with the wood and vice versa!
CLEANING THE STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES
Airborne dirt (i.e. leaves, dust, salt deposits, etc.)
Usually the rain will wash away dirt and other deposits: in any case, periodically check whether these airborne bu-
ild-ups have been removed. This is especially important in marine environments, where deposits of salt in the air can
give rise to localised corrosion if they are not removed.
Fingerprints: the safest and most efficient way to get rid of fingerprints from the stainless steel finishings is using
a soft or chamois leather cloth dipped in soapy water; finish by rinsing and drying thoroughly to prevent streaking.
Using demineralised water (available in supermarkets) makes cleaning easier and more efficient. Alternatively, you
can use a soft cloth soaked in a neutral cleaning solution specifically for stainless steel: follow the cleaning solution
manufacturer' s instructions for use.
Oil or grease stains: use a soft or chamois leather cloth dipped in soapy water; finish by rinsing and drying thorou-
ghly to prevent streaking. Using demineralised water (available in supermarkets) makes cleaning easier and more
efficient.
For particularly stubborn stains, non-aggressive/abrasive cream degreasers or denatured alcohol can be used with
a soft cloth over small surfaces at a time. Be careful not to spread the stain out as it will then be difficult to remove
completely: for this reason, it is advisable to apply the degreaser several times over small surfaces until all the traces
of partially dissolved oil or grease are removed.
Scale stains: if it is not dried off with a cloth, rainwater or the water used for the shower can, over time, leave scale
stains on surfaces, especially if the system water is very hard. To remove the stains, use a soft cloth dampened with
specific scale removers or white vinegar. Finish by rinsing and drying thoroughly to prevent streaking. Absolutely
do not allow these products to come into contact with the wood; should this happen, rinse immediately and abun-
dantly.
CLEANING THE WOOD SURFACES
Your shower is made of Teak, a type of wood typically found in tropical and subtropical forests in South and Southeast
Asia. It tolerates temperature ranges, humidity, salt and the elements very well: for this reason, it is considered one of
the most durable woods in the world, widely used in the nautical and architectural industries.
Maintenance, thanks to these features, is simple and infrequent: protect the wood surfaces using the kit available
at your retailer once a year, preferably in the fall or spring. Wear gloves and protective glasses (not supplied)
and, using the brush, spread the product evenly over all the wood surfaces with wide, vertical strokes, preventing it
from building up or dripping (in the event, immediately wipe off the excess with a soft cloth). Let it absorb without
using the shower for at least 4-5 hours. Do not do it during the hottest hours of the day, if it is raining or on very cold
or humid days. Be careful not to let the product come in contact with the stainless steel surfaces; should this happen,
rinse the steel surfaces immediately. Once you have finished, keep the gloves on, cover the jar with its lid and thorou-
ghly clean the brush with solvent (i.e. thinner).
Put them in a cool place protected from sunlight until the next time you do maintenance.

CLEANING THE NOZZLES

The nozzles are made of soft silicone: periodically remove the scale residue by brushing your hand over them a few
times. Do not use scale removers, vinegar or other acid or abrasive substances.
