4. LOCATION OF THE WOOD POLE FALL RESTRICT DEVICE (WPFRD) ON THE POLE

HOW TO POSITION THE WOOD POLE FALL RESTRICT DEVICE (WPFRD) ONTO THE POLE TO BEGIN: The user can hold the carabiner
sub-assembly with roller in the right hand and the cam bracket sub-assembly with paddle in the left hand.
Hardware must be in direct contact with the pole at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions as shown. Failure to do so could
prevent the Wood Pole Fall Restrict Device (WPFRD) from stopping your fall causing injury or death.
Starting at the base of the wood pole, connect double end

portion of the inner strap snap hook to left hand D-ring of belt
with keeper facing out.
2 Connect Single-fixed end of the inner strap sub-assembly with
snap hook to right hand D-ring of belt with keeper facing out.

3 Disconnect carabiner from outer strap D-ring.
