Preparation
1. Park the motorcycle on a firm, flat surface where it will not fall over.
2. Stop the engine and remove the ignition key, wait until the engine has cooled
for

3. Read these instructions carefully before installation and check that all items are
correctly packed in the kit.
4. Before gluing the carbon alternator cover, the surface of original clutch cover
must be clean, dust-free and free of grease.

For GSX1300R it's necessary to dismount the left hand side cowling.
Therefore remove the side cowling according to the Owner`s manual.
Apply the glue (3) on the original alternator cover as you can see in picture 1.
Place the carbon alternator cover (1) in correct position. Fix it with some tape as
you can see in picture 2. Wait 24 hours before you removing the tape.
Attach the side cowling GSX1300R according to the Owner`s manual.
Check that all screws are seated firmly after assembly
and retighten them periodically if necessary.
