ANALYZER R-440-TCP
This is a manual describing the analizer R-440-

Before performing any maintenance,
repair or handling of any of the
connections of the equipment, must
disconnect the device from any power
source and also the connection of measurement.
When you suspect a malfunction of the equipment
please contact the service. The design of the
equipment allows a quick replacement in case of
failure.
If the equipment is used in a way not
specified by the manufacturer, the
protection guaranteed by the equipment
may be compromised.
9 DESCRIPTION OF THE R-440-TCP
The device is a mini PCL, with enough intelligence
that can control for him self the devices LM4I-4O- M
and CVM-MINI. Those devices are controlling by
the bus RS-485. The device has an Ethernet port,
10BaseT/100Base TX, for the communication with
the PC.
The R-440-TCP in total has 4 inputs, this inputs are
associates to 4 registers in the memory. The size of
the register is of 32 bits (4 bytes), every input can
count like a maximum FFFF FFFF in hexadecimal
or a 4.294.967.295 impulses.
The minimum size o changing time of the pulse has
tu be 50 ms and the minimum time between two
consecutive pulses in the same input is 50 ms. This
represent one maximum sample frequency of 10
Hz.
The R-440-TCP has 4 relay output, this output can
be
activated
o
deactivated
when
application demand the operation. The device has a
write function that is able to create for him self a
pulse of activation or deactivation. The pulse size is
variable y is programmed in the device. The
minimum value is 20 ms and the maximum value is
5.1 seconds (5100ms=255x20). The value FF (255
in decimal) multiply by 20 ms that is the minimum
value is the estimation of the real time.

COMUNICATION PROTOCOL
2.1
Protocol RS-485 port
It has a communication port RS485, for the
communications with the devices LM4IO-4O-M ans
CVM-MINI. For this communication the devices

the
MODBUS
RTU
communication speed is 19200, 8, N, 1.
2.2
Protocol Ethernet port
It has an Ethernet port for communicate with the
PC. The format of the information is XML. With thi
protocol the master can configure the R-440-TCP
and the dates stored in the devices are send to the
PC.

INSTALATION
The equipment installation is performed on DIN rail, all connections being inside an electrical panel.
The computer must be connected to a power supply circuit protected with gl type fuses (IEC 269) or M type,
between 0.5 and 2 A. Should be provided with a Circuit breaker or equivalent device to disconnect the computer
from the mains. The equipment power circuit cable will be connected with minimum section 1.5 mm

Blinking shows that we receive dates for the bus RS-485
