bEFoRE fitting the chest belt to any wheelchair/seating system, please consult the
wheelchair/seating system manufacturer's manual (or contact them) to find out if it is
acceptable to do so.
chest Strap assembly
1.
Determine the appropriate location for the
mounting hardware to be installed on the
wheelchair.
2.
Attach the Strap Guides to the wheelchair by
fastening screw (not provided) to the frame (Fig.
1). Note: the Strap Guide can be mounted either
on the back or on the side of the wheelchair back.
3.
Slide one Three-Bar Slides onto each end of the
Chest Belt (Fig 2).
4.
Thread both Chest Belts through the Strap Guides
(Fig. 3) making sure the 'D' Ring is on top.
5.
Thread each end the second Chest Belt back
through the Three Bar Slide (Fig. 4).
6.
Thread the front end of the Chest Belt through the
'D' Ring and fasten where desired.
