Perform a function test. To do this, press the face of the alarm
for at least 3 seconds.

When the signal sounds, the function test is successful
and the smoke alarm is working correctly.
Caution:
Once a 3V battery is inserted, your smoke alarm is in
registration mode. Removing and re-inserting the battery
starts the registration process from the beginning.
