The actual range of the sensor can be influenced by environmental
conditions. Should false motion alarms be reported, check for any
moving objects within the sensor's detection area, such as trees
blowing in the wind, cars passing by, windmills, etc. False motion
alarms may be caused by moving masses of air and heat as well. If the
device continues reporting false alarms, despite eliminating all of the
above-mentioned factors, install the device in another place.
To ensure good transmission quality, keep away from sources of interference
such as metal surfaces, microwave ovens, hi-fi equipment, televisions, ballasts
or transformers. During the addition/registration process, the iO sensor should
be close to the iO Simon HUB PRO socket to avoid draining the battery.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The battery can last around two years under normal conditions. High temperatures, high humidity
or other poor conditions may shorten battery lifespan.
We recommend changing the battery promptly when low power indication occurs.
DESCRIPTION
The iO Motion sensor is a Z-Wave based Sensor. It will send radio signals to associated Z-Wave
devices within its Z-Wave network when it detects IR changes. It can be installed on a shelf, in
the corner of a room, anywhere on the wall, or even on the ceiling.
