Tips to keep the battery in good condition
Battery:
- Cold or hot conditions may cause the battery to not fully charge, do not
charge your smartgyro in a humid environment.
- Even if it is not used, it is advisable to charge the battery at least once a
month.
- The battery capacity range will be reduced by 0.4KM if the temperature
drops by 1 ° C (the standard grade is 25 ° C). The charge must be
stopped when the temperature is higher than 40º and in winter the
charge must be started one hour after entering the house and the battery
has taken some temperature.
Causes why the battery may show lower efficiency:
1: Overvoltage on the brake lever. If the pads rub against the rim while
driving, it will cause a reduction in autonomy.
2: Insufficient tire pressure.
3: Overload on your smartGyro.
4: Actuate the brake lever too much while driving.
5: Battery decrease due to cold weather.
6: Decrease battery efficiency due to high speed.
Solution:
1: Adjust the brake system to ensure its best condition.
2: Tire pressure should be maintained between 280 ~ 450 kPa.
3: The load should not be more than 100kg.
4: Drive with progressive speed.
5: With cold climates the battery life is less. The autonomy of the battery in
winter is 20-30 km and in summer it is 30-50 km.
6: The faster you go with your smartgyro, the sooner the battery will be
consumed.
