This machine is made in compliance with EU standards for safety and is
CE certified.
1.1. Safety gear
The use of the machine requires the use of personal protective equipment such as:
• Protective Gloves,
• Safety Goggles,
• Respirator (in the absence of air filtration system).
BURN HAZARDS
During operation, parts subject to treatment and some components of the torch
can reach high temperatures (above 180 °C).
Protective gloves must be used for handling parts and for the use of the torch. The
same precautions must be used for the withdrawal of pads and their supports.
In case of accidental contact with eyes or skin and/or if swallowed, ensure to follow
the instructions on the product safety data sheets.
The safety data sheet for the electrolyte solution can be found at: www.weldline.eu.
FUMES HAZARD
Processing operations can emit toxic fumes; observe the necessary
precautions to prevent risk of exposure of the operator and other people
nearby.
In the absence of a air filtration system, operator must use a respirator with appropriate
filter, suitable for the electrolyte used (FFP2, FFP1...).
• FFP2 (Brill solution)
ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Any electric shock can be life threatening. Do not use the machine in a humid
place. Do not touch live components. At the slightest sensation of electric
shock, immediately turn off the machine and do not reuse until a qualified
technician has resolved the anomaly. Frequently check the power cable and if it shows
signs of damage or abrasions in the sheath, replace it immediately. Perform maintenance
operations only after disconnecting the machine from its power supply. Maintenance
of electrical parts must be performed only by qualified and authorized personnel.
Use only original spare parts.
1.2. Protective equipment
