• Do not use the heater near water - for example, a bath-
tub, kitchen sink, or swimming pool.
• Do not let water or any other liquid enter the appliance.
• Do not insert your fingers or foreign objects into the
device.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or car-
rying out any type of maintenance. Do not unplug the
device by pulling on its power cord.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord, or
the appliance itself are damaged.
• Do not use an extension lead or modify the power
cord plug.
• Unplug from the socket before leaving home and ne-
ver leave the heater unattended for long periods of time
- for example, several weeks in an empty summer house.
• Make sure no other devices are plugged into the same
socket as the heater. An overloaded electrical circuit can
lead to dimmed lights, blown fuses, circuit breaker acti-
vation, or fire hazard.
• Do not place the heater immediately below a socket.
