• Connect the test probes (S) in parallel to the circuit or
component being measured. Connect the red test probe to
the positive side of the circuit and the black test probe to the
negative side.
• Read the voltage on the display.
Resistance measurement
WARNING
on live circuits.
• Insert the black connector lead (S) into the COM (black)
input terminal (I) and the red connector lead (S) into the V
(red) terminal (M).
• Set the function switch (K) to the Ω/CAP position.
• Connect the test probes (S) across the circuit or component
being measured. It is best to disconnect one side of the
device being tested so the rest of the circuit does not
interfere with the resistance reading.
• If OL appears on the display (F). The circuit or device being
tested is open or has a resistance that is above the range of
the meter. No current flow can be measured.
• Read the resistance on the display.
