Troubleshooting

Excessive bending force.

Poor quality of bend (folding, crushing, etc.)

Diagnosis:
Incorrect type of pipe.
Insufficiently annealed copper pipe.
Excessive annealed length.
Incorrectly oriented counter-formers.
Remedy:
Bend only the types of pipes indicated under
"characteristics".
Ensure that pipe is correctly annealed
Anneal the pipe over the whole of the section
to be bent, do not anneal those parts of the
pipe in contact with the counter-formers (risk of
deformation)
The counter-formers corresponding to the
diameter of the pipe must be turned towards
the former.
