The Tare weight function

You can use the Tare function during the process of weighing. By pushing the „Tare"
button, the display switches back to „0". The before measured value is set back to
0 (Tare). You can repeat to tare the weight as often as you wish. Proceed in the
following way:
1. Turn on your smartLAB
2. Choose the measuring unit (g / oz ).
3. Place the item you want to determine the weight of on the scale.
4. Push after the measured weight does not change its value any more. The
display switches back to „0"
5. If you place another additional item on the scale, the display will read the
weight of this item only.
6. Repeat as often as needed.
If you want to restore the Tare weight function, proceed in the following way:
Press the button until the scale shows 0 again. Remove all foods from the scale.
The „negative weight" symbol appears in the display. This is the total of all items.
Note: If the weight is less than 600g, the „TARE" icon will not appear on the display
by pressing the TARE button.
