Please read and follow these instructions for use of and keep them for future
reference.
Intended Use
HEINE Retinoscopes are intended for measuring the refraction of the eye by illuminating
the retina and noting the direction of movement of the light on the retinal surface and
on the refraction by the eye of the emergent rays. The instruments feature an optical
examination system and an illumination unit powered by battery or rechargeable battery.
They must be used only by qualified medical personnel in medical rooms. The instruments
are intended for short-term treatment.
For U.S. only:
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a Physician or
Practitioner.
