1. Installation and safety (see also page 1 for safety information)
• Connection or installation may only be carried out by qualified electricians!
• Always switch on the circuit in which the installation is being carried out during all work
the main fuse completely! Otherwise there is a DANGER TO LIFE !!
• For optimal functionality, mount the motion detector at right angles to the direction of
travel of the area that is to be scanned. If people move directly towards the motion
detector, the function is only possible to a limited extent!
• Insert the stripped wires of the input and output cables into the terminal
on the motion detector and screw it tight! Check that the wires are firmly seated.
• Do not install near sources of heat or cold

The sensor is NOT
impulse relays or parallel circuits. The sensor has a highly sensitive thyristor output and is NOT
reverse current proof. The sensor is designed to switch one or more consumers (e.g. lamps) in
a circuit on or off from one installation location. The sensor replaced an ON / OFF switch.

Settings and function test
Now set the controller for LUX to the "right stop"! Set the time setting to "left stop". Attach the
cover plate and turn the power back on. Now switch the function switch to "ON", then the sensor
switches and the lamp will light up. Now switch the function switch to "OFF", the lamp goes out.
Then set it to "PIR". The motion sensor is now active and reacts to people in the detection
area. The sensor switches off again after approx. 7 seconds. Finally, adjust the switch-on time
(TIME) and the twilight threshold (LUX) as required.
Electricity flows, the lamp lights up.
• Position "ON"
no current flows, the device is deactivated, the lamp does not light up.
• Position "OFF"
